Jun 10 - Aug 12 (off Jul 8 & 15)
We are excited to introduce our new summer youth program called “The WAY” - Wrangler & Art for Youth.
This 8 week program will bring together groups of teens (ages 14-18) for our relationship building wrangler program as well as creative projects and spiritual growth! The schedule is as follows:
1:00-1:50 art group 1 / equine group 2
1:50-2:10 devotional
2:10-3:00 art group 2 / equine group 1
3:00-4:00 optional pool time with family
Wrangler
Wrangler is designed to teach relationship principles through partnering with a horse. Each participant will be partnered with another teen. Together they will be assigned to a horse for the eight week session and will work on developing a connected relationship with the horse.
Art
Creating pieces that reflect each teens individuality, while also collaborating together on a shared work of art. Some of the artwork will remain at the farm for everyone to enjoy, while other pieces can be taken home. A few of these classes may get a little messy, so please come dressed in clothes you don’t mind getting paint on!
As always, a parent must stay on site during this program. The pool will be open for families who have teens attending, and we are also offering a dance class from 1-2pm for adopted kids and/or siblings age 8-16. There will be separate sign ups coming soon for dance and pool time.
Registration deadline for The WAY is Friday, May 15
