It’s a joy to be able to offer many opportunities for families to bond with each other, grow in their relationships, and receive the support and care they need along the way!

Parent coaching is offered by Lydia, Connected Families Certified Parent Coach and TBRI Practitioner. Parent Coaching is tailored to the needs of each family, but generally consists of 5 sessions and includes a workbook to reference at home. Sessions can take place in person at the farm or online. We encourage both parents to attend whenever possible!
Parent coaching is different from counseling or other services you may have experienced.
As a coach, Lydia draws from the following:
God’s Word: the healing and wisdom we most need for our families is found only in Jesus!
The Connected Families Framework: a simple, Biblical framework for parenting that has been life-changing for thousands of families. Learn more.
Attachment and Trauma Principles: while the Connected Families Framework is trauma informed, Lydia brings additional insights as a Trust Based Relational Intervention practitioner.
YOU! You are the expert on your child and family. Lydia can support you in stepping into your God-given influence and leading your family with grace!
How to get the most out of Parent Coaching:
The coaching workbook is designed to be a guide for your sessions. We likely won’t discuss everything in it, but it is packed with great information. We will discuss the material in the workbook that corresponds to each session and work together to identify key action steps for the time between sessions.
Your reminder emails for subsequent sessions will include a link to fill out the Session Prep form prior to your next coaching session.
You will likely get out of coaching whatever you follow through with and put into practice between sessions. Pay attention to the last page of each session and review what was discussed.
**Lydia has flexibility to schedule coaching around your child’s art or equine sessions, if you don’t see a time that works for you, please email her directly to schedule**
